Up Close: Dent Fix Equipment Glue Puller Xtreme, No. DF-GPX

Sept. 14, 2022
The Dent Fix Equipment Glue Puller Xtreme is designed to perform repairs on major panel damage with a minimum of tear down, prep, clean up, and damage to the vehicle.

Application

The Dent Fix Equipment Glue Puller Xtreme, No. DF-GPX, is capable of both aluminum and steel pulling. It utilizes large glue pads with heavy duty glue to pull and straighten damaged areas on external sheet metal. A pulling device is needed which most shops will have or can be sourced separately to increase the order value.

Origin

During the repair process, it’s crucial to save as much of the OEM corrosion protection coating to the steel panels applied by the manufacturers because this coating is difficult to replicate outside of the factory. When the damage is in an area of the vehicle with no access to the backside of the panel, Dent Fix determined performing a glue pulling first would be a safe and efficient way to complete the repair. This repair method decreases the amount of heat put into the panel, saves as much of the protective coating as possible, and reduces the risk of corrosion to the repair area in the future.

Features and Benefits

  • Performs repairs on major panel damage with minimum tear down, prep, clean up, and damage to the vehicle.
