Lincoln Electric Releases Revised Aluminum Welding Guide

May 19, 2016—Lincoln Electric announced Wednesday the release of an updated guide for aluminum gas metal arc welding (GMAW).

The newest version features a reader-friendly layout and updated information and photos of products and processes. It offers a detailed look at filler metal types filler metal selection considerations for welding, tips for welding on aluminum materials and a discussion on the causes and solutions of defects in aluminum welding. New sections include information on recent technology advances in welding equipment and processes designed for use on aluminum. 

The guide is available as a PDF download on the Lincoln Electric website.
