Crews received a call shortly before midnight saying a mechanic could be trapped inside the burning building. Luckily, fire crews determined no one was inside.
No cars were inside the garage at the time of the fire, and no cars were damaged in the parking lot.
The building is considered a total loss. State fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
