Applications are now being accepted for approximately 100 temporary, part-time jobs at General Motors' Flint Assembly plant.

October 17, 2018—General Motors is now hiring for around 100 temp jobs at its Flint, Mich., plant, reported MLive.

The jobs start at $15.78 per hour and employees may be asked to work from one to three days a week on first, second, or third shifts with mandatory Saturday shifts and overtime hours with little notice.

Heavy-duty Chevrolet and GMC Sierra crew and regular cab trucks are produced at the Flint assembly plant that's seen roughly $2 billion in investments by General Motors since 2011, according to the report.
