Mitchell and Mazda North American Operations have renewed their collision network agreement, according to a press release.
A contract renewal was recently signed by both companies allowing Mitchell to continue to serve as program administrator of the Mazda Collision Network in the United States. The network was originally launched in 2021 to allow Mazda vehicle owners access to facilities that are certified to work on Mazda cars.
Last year the program announced the addition of an online facility locator. This year will see the release of program information being added to the MyMazda mobile app, which is a platform that allows Mazda owners to schedule service appointments, locate nearby dealers, access automobile manuals, request roadside assistance, and stay informed on recalls.
Nearby Mazda-certified shops can be found through the MyMazda app, and program information is included in the glovebox of every new Mazda car to make consumers aware of the resource. These Mazda-certified shops will also soon be commemorated with plaques from Mazda to display in their shops.
Shops certified with Mazda are able to utilize Mitchell Cloud Estimating to generate damage appraisals and view integrated, category-level Mazda repair procedures. Recent OEM program improvements have provided the ability to upload estimates as well as to access Mazda repair information when using third-party collision estimating solutions.
