The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence has announced that its President and CEO Tim Zilke as well as Senior Vice President of Communications Trish Serratore will be retiring December 31, 2023, according to a press release.
First joining the company in 1991, Zilke was promoted to president and CEO in 2008. Serratore has been with ASE since 1988 and was given her current title in 2008. She was president of the ASE Education Foundation from 2012 through 2017 before resuming her duties as senior vice president.
ASE will officially designate Dave Johnson as its president and CEO elect on July 12, with him to take over the title on January 1, 2024. He brings 30 years of experience in the industry, previously working as the global director of service engineering operations at Ford Motor Company.
Additionally, ASE has announced its new vice president of industry and media relations to be Donna Wagner, who holds over 30 years of experience working in aftermarket education and parts supplier representation.
