Students in Minnesota enrolled in auto body technology programs received uniforms sponsored by ABRA Auto Body Duluth, according to a press release.
The uniforms were donated with help from other organizations, including the Collision Repair Education Foundation and the Cintas Corporation.
ABRA Auto Body Duluth provided uniforms for students at Lake Superior College and ABRA Auto Body St. Cloud gave uniforms to St. Cloud Technical Community College students. Two students from Lake Superior who received uniforms have since accepted positions to work at the ABRA Duluth store.
The project was first conceptualized by Danyell Wendland, the operations director for ABRA Auto Body & Glass in Duluth, Elk River, Princeton and St. Cloud, Minnesota.
“After over 26 years in the industry, I recognize the importance of reminding the next generation that there is not just one path to success,” Wendland stated. “The trade industry represents one of many paths, and I could not be more grateful for having selected it.”
