Crash Champions partnered with the National Auto Body Council to restore a vehicle for a struggling Orlando family, according to a press release.
The vehicle was gifted to Reina Medina on April 25. Nominated by the Arc of South Florida, Medina is a single mother of two as well as the caretaker for her elderly mother. Before the event on April 25, she didn’t have reliable transportation.
Crash Champions restored a 2019 Nissan Altima donated by GEICO to “like-new condition” for Medina as part of NABC’s Recycled Rides program. She thanked everyone involved for the help it will provide her family.
“My entire family is incredibly grateful for this wonderful donation,” she stated via the press release. “The vehicle gifted to us today will allow us greater work opportunities, more family time, and the chance to do many of the activities that so many take for granted, from running errands to visiting doctors.”
Crash Champions is a Level One partner with the NABC Recycled Rides organization and has participated in five giveaways this year.
