GM Recalls Pickups for Brake Control Software

The automaker announced the recall on roughly 162,000 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.

Feb. 10, 2020—General Motors is recalling roughly 162,000 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks, according to a report from Fox 5 New York.

The trucks have an issue with the brake control software. GM has received reports of the electronic power brake-assist system being disabled and warning lights being engaged. 

There have been no crashes or injuries in relation to the recall.
