Sept. 24, 2012—DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) will sponsor and facilitate four educational courses that will be available to attendees at the 2012 NACE Expo in New Orleans and the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
DPC said it will offer the following educational opportunities during this year’s trade shows. Two courses will be offered at each event:
• Improving Closing Ratio for Customer Pay Work: The course is designed to help shops close more price-driven customer pay repairs. The seminar is scheduled for Oct. 10 at 8:30 a.m. during the NACE Expo. Steve Trapp of DPC and collision industry marketing and sales expert Robert Rick of RR & Custom Solutions will facilitate it.
• Strategies for Implementing Best Practices/SOP’s: DPC said the course will provide attendees with tips on developing and sustaining best practices for administrative and production processes. The course will take place Oct. 13 at 8:30 a.m. during the NACE Expo, and will be facilitated by Trapp and Mike Anderson of CollisionAdvice.
• Marketing to Consumers: DPC said the course will explain how to target consumers with marketing strategies to generate more qualified drive-in traffic and repair volume. The course is scheduled for Oct. 31 during the SEMA Show. It will be facilitated by Trapp and Rick.
• Enabling Flow: The course will identify how to optimize and level out workflow by interconnecting various shop departments, DPC said. Trapp and lean expert John Sweigart of True Collision Centers will facilitate the course, which is scheduled for Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. during the SEMA Show.
“DuPont Performance Coatings is committed to helping the collision industry continue to expand its knowledge of best practices by providing industry-leading value added services,” Trapp said. “Creating these four new courses is an example of that commitment. The courses provide insights on how we can help repairers drive more work to their door, and how we can assist repairers in pulling more work through their door.”
