BASF Automotive Refinish announced changes to its sales management team.
Denise Kingstrom Fernandez was appointed as BASF Automotive Refinish strategic accounts manager. She will be responsible for managing BASF’s ColorSource program, according to BASF.
Fernandez has been with BASF Coatings North America for 11 years, most recently as business development manager for the BASF OEM Coatings General Motors account.
Keith Bell was appointed as central zone manager, and will focus on growing the BASF Refinish business in the central zone of the United States, according to BASF.
Bell most recently served BASF Automotive Refinish as strategic account manager, and was responsible for key distributors.
Michael Kaufman was appointed as eastern zone manager. Kaufman previously managed the south east zone for BASF Automotive Refinish, and his role has been expanded to include entire east coast, from Maine to Florida, according to BASF.
John Moreau will re-join BASF as western zone manager. Moreau was most recently vice president of sales for Atlanta-based Thomas Concrete. Prior to that position, Moreau served the BASF Construction Chemicals business for 14 years.
Jim Smith was appointed as strategic initiatives manager. Smith will be responsible for implementing major initiatives within BASF Automotive Refinish. Smith previously served BASF Automotive refinish as the western zone manager.
Each appointment is already in effect, according to BASF.
