3M Releases New Cubitron II Abrasives

April 17, 2014—3M Abrasive Systems launched a new addition to its line of grinding and finishing produces, the 3M Cubitron II Vitrified Wheels.

The new abrasives are designed for conventional wheel applications including gear grinding, camshaft and crankshaft grinding, cylindrical grinding, and centerless grinding.

Cubitron II products use 3m’s patented “Precision-Shaped Grain,” which gives the surface of the abrasive uniformly sized triangles of ceramic material.
