Jan. 16, 2013—AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas will host its 39th semi-annual Acoat selected Winter Conference Feb. 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota hotel in Sarasota, Fla.
The conference is the first of two national Acoat selected gatherings held annually by AkzoNobel. AkzoNobel said the event is designed to provide collision repairers and distributors involved with its North American performance groups with information and insight on issues critical to the future of the collision repair industry.
Conference attendees will have opportunities to participate in several classes that address industry trends, technologies and leadership skills necessary to perpetuate sustainable business models. Barry Rinehart, North American services manager for AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas, said the class curriculum is delivered in a format that allows attendees to share knowledge and develop solutions to industry issues for long-term success.
“Acoat selected‘s record of success in helping businesses advance within the collision repair industry spans more than 25 years,” Rinehart said. ”The rapidly changing dynamics of the collision industry are redefining the roles of distributors and collision repair centers. Both groups are required to become more astute in their business practices to ensure mutual success. This conference, with programs designed for both their unique and combined needs, offers a format to raise awareness, share knowledge and craft solutions to industry issues that are critical for long term survival and sustainability.”
