Aug. 18, 2016—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) announced Tuesday additional details on three sessions at the OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit, to be held Nov. 3, during the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The summit will bring together SEMA attendees with innovators in automotive structural design. It will focus on emerging trends in vehicle construction and technology and how those trends affect repairability.
The three sessions are titled “Restoring Vehicle Functionality through Electronic Technology and Diagnostics,” which will be divided into two panels; “Advanced Vehicle Materials, Construction and Repair Considerations” with Mark Voss, Engineering Group manager; and “MEET THE TRAINER: A candid discussion with individuals responsible for manufacturer training and curriculum development for technical staff and industry outreach” with collision repairer moderated panels that will feature training instructors and curriculum developers.
