ARA, Alteso Group to Provide Product Inventory Solutions

Feb. 26, 2013

Feb. 26, 2013—The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) and its subsidiary, ARA Product Services, have reached an agreement with the Alteso Group of Companies to provide ARA members with an online auction platform for the procurement of motor vehicles.

The ARA said this platform will increase members’ revenue stream, lower operational costs and reduce the number of vehicles being exported.

The agreement between the two organizations also provides members access to other cost-effective technologies for transportation and financial services.

“We’re excited to announce this agreement with the Alteso,” said Chris Wright, president of the ARA. “Their expert leadership team possesses the ability to tap into extensive resources to provide for the acquisition of vehicles, and we look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring to both ARA and our members.”

The ARA hopes to address opportunities with various insurance companies, wholesalers, fleets and franchise dealers to properly meet the demands of members’ vehicle acquisitions.
