Hi-Tech PDR, the nation’s leading provider of specialized automotive services, has announced that it has earned ISO 9001: 2015 certification, demonstrating its commitment to rigorous quality standards for the company’s body shop and insurance industry partners.

“We believe our more than two-year effort to build, test and implement our quality management system will help ensure we are consistently achieving our three promises to the collision industry,” said Bo Opanasyuk, chief operating officer at Hi-Tech. “We have long pledged to do quality work effectively, to offer streamlined services that fit into our B2B customer’s business operations, and to provide these things consistently. The ISO certification confirms to the industry that we have the systems in place to achieve this.”

Hi-Tech PDR, founded in 1995, offers hail catastrophe response for insurance carriers, collision centers, automobile manufacturers and fleets throughout the United States. Opanasyuk said the company provides a 24-hour response time following notification from a customer, working with individual body shops as well as the largest regional and national MSOs and top-10 insurance companies.

“We recognize that body shops are lean operations, with every employee already operating at full capacity,” Opanasyuk said. “They need a reliable partner when a catastrophe hits and their workload jumps 100-fold overnight. Like them, our technicians have the I-CAR and other training needed to perform quality, timely repairs. Our ISO certification is further evidence that they can count on us and the systems we’ve developed over decades, setting a new standard for our industry.”

Internationally recognized as the standard for quality management, ISO 9001 is based on principles that include a strong customer focus, management commitment, a process approach, and continual improvement. Companies and organizations in more than 170 countries are ISO 9001 certified.

“I believe that achieving ISO certification has made us stronger as a company, and will ensure we perform, monitor and improve the level of consistent service that our body shop and insurance industry and other customers expect and deserve,” Opanasyuk said.

Based in Northbrook, Illinois, and with regional hubs throughout the country, Hi-Tech PDR provides 24-hour catastrophe response, capable of processing hail, wind and flood claims, and has performed more than 1 million vehicle repairs since 1995.
