LeDuc battled 10 other competitors in searing 100-degree temperatures to sweep Rounds 5 and 6 this past weekend at the Speedworld Off-Road Park in Surprise, Ariz., making for a perfect record of six wins in a row plus a commanding lead in the annual Pro 4 Unlimited class championship.
The six-turn dirt track offered a mix of low- and high-speed turns an unrelenting series of suspension-pounding bumps and large jumps.
Beginning on Friday, LeDuc and his Ford truck were the fastest in qualifying. Running on relies on Open Country M/T-R tires, he further proved his dominance on Sunday by recording a top lap time that was three seconds quicker than the second-place finisher.
“Our No. 99 team has been undefeated in 2012,” LeDuc declares. “We do that by attacking the dirt, and we only do that on Toyo tires.”
“We congratulate Kyle LeDuc on his third consecutive sweep in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series this year,” adds Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports. “We are proud that our Open Country M/T-R tires are a part of his winning package,” he notes, “continuing a perfect win streak for the 2012 season.”
The 16-race Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is being aired on CBS Sports, the NBC Sports Network, the Speed Channel and MavTV.
