Running on off-the-shelf Geolandar A/T-S+ tires, Yokohama’s Cameron Steele has won his first Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series event of the year, taking first in the Pro Buggy class at California’s Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park.

“It was a tough race,” says Steele, the 2010 Pro Buggy champ, “but the Yokohama Geolandars did their job and helped secure the win… They really handled the course well.”

“Great to see Cameron get his first win of the season,” observes Duane Sampson, Yokohama’s motorsports manager. “He’s a seasoned veteran, ran a smart race and our Geolandar A/T-S tires never let him down.”

The next event in the eight-event series, which combines the Midwest tradition of short course off-road racing with a West Coast influence, is May 19-20 at Speedworld Off-Road Park in Surprise, Ariz.
