SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Swedish automaker Volvo has once again approved BASF as a preferred supplier of automotive refinish products. Approval by the company required passing a number of rigorous tests at Volvo Cars’ Surface Treatment Center, where scientists verified that the finishes met Volvo’s strict internal standards.

“We take great pride in knowing that Volvo has named BASF a preferred supplier for our Glasurit and R-M products,” says Joe Skurka, manager of OEM and Industry Relations for BASF Refinish. “We have a long-standing history as an approved supplier for the company and look forward to continuing it for many years to come.”
