Mickey Thompson Shows Off New SideBiter Wheel at SEMA

Jan. 1, 2020
Mickey Thompson used the SEMA Show to give the public a first look at their new SideBiter wheel. With its high-gloss black finish and unique design it looks great. Check it out.

While Mickey Thompson’s SideBiter wheel was released a couple weeks ago, the SEMA show marked the first time the wheel was on display to the public. We checked it out in their booth and it is definitely a nice looking wheel. The inspiration for the design of the center of the wheel came from the Side Biters on Mickey Thompson’s Baja Claw line of tires. We love the high-gloss black finish and tough look. It also comes with a limited lifetime guarantee against structural defects and two-year warranty on the finish. Here is the official press release:

Mickey Thompson is proud to introduce the new SideBiter wheel.  The SideBiter wheel features center spokes that resemble the popular side biter feature found on the innovative line of Mickey Thompson Baja tires. Pairing the two together will provide a great looking package and maximum performance.

Built as a heavy-duty performer, the SideBiter has a beautiful high-gloss black finish and embossed center cap with the Mickey Thompson logo for ultimate styling. The SideBiter wheel is manufactured using a special low-pressure casting process that virtually eliminates air bubbles and imperfections and creates a wheel that is extremely strong with a higher load carrying capacity than other wheels. The SideBiter wheel also comes with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee against structural defects and two years on the finish.

The new SideBiter wheel is available in 15-, 16-, and 17-inch diameters for Jeeps, pickups and 4x4’s. For more information, visit http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/wheels.php.
