The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) celebrated the election of their new Executive Board for the 2015-2017 term at the AASP/NJ Annual Meeting.
President Jeff McDowell will return for his third term, Mechanical Chairman Keith Krehel was re-elected for his second term, Secretary Thomas Greco and Treasurer Tom Elder were reinstated in their appointed positions and Board member Jerry McNee was elected as the association’s new Collision Chairman. The remaining directors’ terms will run through 2016 and 2017.
All of the officers were thrilled to have McNee join the Executive Board, none more so than AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell.
“Jerry has always been an integral part of what we do,” he says. “He comes to every meeting fully prepared with valuable input and ideas. He contributes to our discussions and comes up with possible solutions to the dilemmas we face in our day-to-day business. He’s been invaluable to the Board so far, and we’re all really looking forward to seeing what he can do in his new role.”
McNee, who has taken a much more active role in the association over the last few years, was honored to succeed Dave Laganella as Collision Chairman.
“I see AASP/NJ accomplishing a lot of great things over the next two years,” he says. “We are at a crucial time in our industry and the association has to lead and educate. I’m ready to do my part.”
