PPG has turned booth 24501 into a country-western themed setting designed to give visitors a warm and welcoming reception. PPG will feature appearances by celebrities from the custom car, motorcycle and drag racing worlds, a display of customized cars and motorcycles, paintings by up-and-coming automotive artists and an array of custom-painted items including guitars with remarkable color schemes. In addition, PPG will highlight new automotive refinish products.

Visitors to the PPG booth will have the chance to meet celebrity painters Bobby Alloway (Alloway's Hot Rod Shop), Dave and Jody Perewitz (Perewitz Cycle Fabrication), Charley Hutton (Charley Hutton's Color Studio) and Tom and Mitch Kelly (Kelly & Son Crazy Painters) — all are known for their unique custom paint designs for cars, trucks and motorcycles and have racked up numerous awards for their work.

Each of these talented painters will be available to sign autographs and to discuss their painting techniques and the PPG products they use exclusively. NHRA champion drag racers John Force, Courtney Force, Mike Neff and Robert Hight from the John Force Racing team will also be on hand to greet visitors and answer questions about their winning ways.

Hutton and Alloway will have two of their custom cars at the booth. Hutton will show a 1953 Chevy pickup while Alloway will debut a 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon. In addition, PPG's own Jeff Matauch will present his 1954 Chevy pickup—a 2012 Detroit Autorama winner.

Customized motorcycles will have their place in the PPG booth as well. Bill Steele (Steele Kustoms), Jeff Theisen and Dave Call (Gunslinger Custom Paint) and Dave and Jody Perewitz will exhibit eye-popping examples of their award-winning work, also achieved with PPG products.

In keeping with the country-western flavor of the booth, PPG will display guitars painted by a number of superstar custom artists including Tom and Mitch Kelly, Bill Steele and others.

PPG representatives will be on hand to introduce the DPLV 2.1 VOC-compliant series of epoxy primers; two new waterborne primers, Envirobase® High Performance EPW115 and Aquabase® Plus P950-5505; dazzling new colors for the Ditzler® Big Flake™ line and stunning colors and effects for the Vibrance Collection®.
