The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ)’s eighth annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing will take place Monday, May 21 at the Colonia Country Club in Colonia, N.J.
Since his death eight years ago, AASP/NJ has honored longtime member and Holmdel Auto Body owner Lou Scoras by running an afternoon of golf along with a dinner and raffle with part of the proceeds going to a fund set up in Scoras’ name. “This event is one of our association’s high points of the year,” says AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant. “Even more so because along with raising money for a good cause, we are honoring a person who meant so much to the association and the industry. It’s a ‘win-win’ for all who partake.”
The tournament has been hugely successful since its inception and Bryant sees no reason for this year to change. “The industry has always come out strong in Lou’s memory and that means so much in this day and age. We are extremely grateful to all of our sponsors, players and guests.”
Bryant expects more than 100 players to attend the outing, along with dozens of sponsors.
