June 3, 2013—Caliber Collision Centers on Monday announced the acquisition of Hank’s Auto Body, operator of three collision repair centers in Colorado.
Caliber’s three new shops, which total 80,000 square feet of production space, are based in the Colorado communities of Denver, Littleton and Wheat Ridge.
“We are proud that Hank’s Auto Body is now a part of the nation’s leading collision repair provider,” said Vince Vecchiarelli, owner of Hank’s Auto Body. “This partnership will allow the company to continue expanding across the Denver market, while providing Hank’s customers with the same high standards of quality repair and personal service they’ve come to expect. Even more important, our partnership with Caliber provides Hank’s staff and their families new advancement opportunities and a bright future in the collision repair industry.”
Caliber now operates a total of 129 collision repair locations throughout six U.S. states, including California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.
“Caliber’s acquisition of Hank’s Auto Body locations in the Denver market represents Caliber’s continued commitment to expand into the southwestern U.S.,” said Steve Grimshaw, CEO of Caliber. “After getting to know Vince Vecchiarelli and his team in Colorado, it became very apparent that their culture is a perfect fit with Caliber’s customer service focus centered on our employees.”
